Our Sunday School has invited the congregation to support neighbors facing difficult choices this winter between heating their homes and meeting other basic needs. The Outreach Committee will donate all collected funds to the Massachusetts Good Neighbor Energy Fund, an organization that partners with local communities and utility companies to provide heating assistance to households in need.
As we gather in warmth each Sunday, we remember Christ's call to care for the vulnerable among us. Your donation—whether $5 or $50—helps ensure that families in Westford, Chelmsford, and surrounding communities can stay safe and warm through the coldest months.
Donations can be placed in the Outreach Box in the church lobby. Checks should be made payable to St. Mark's with "Good Neighbor Energy Fund" in the memo line.
Together, we live out the words of Isaiah: "If you offer your food to the hungry and satisfy the needs of the afflicted, then your light shall rise in the darkness." (Isaiah 58:10)
