Many families in our community are facing difficult choices at the grocery store as food costs rise and SNAP (food assistance) benefits have been reduced. St. Mark's invites the congregation to support our local food pantries during this challenging time.
Please bring non-perishable food items—canned goods, pasta, rice, peanut butter, cereal, or other shelf-stable foods—and place them in the collection basket in the narthex. All donations go directly to local food pantries serving Westford and surrounding communities.
As we celebrate the Eucharist each week, sharing bread and wine at Christ's table, we're reminded that God calls us to ensure all people have their daily bread. Your generosity helps neighbors facing food insecurity know they are not alone.
"For I was hungry and you gave me food." (Matthew 25:35)
Thank you for your continued compassion and faithfulness in caring for our community.
