St. Mark's Choir
Directed by Lee Yezek, Minister of Music

Music is an important part of an Episcopal celebration, as we lift our voices to God in praise and thanksgiving.  The main role of the choir is to enhance our worship together and to support congregational singing.  Lee Yezek accompanies the singing with a beautiful Jardine organ located in the choir loft, as well as a grand piano in the chancel.  We sing from the 1982 Hymnal, and we use the Wonder, Love and Praise (WLP)  and Lift Every Voice and Sing (LEVAS)  hymnals, as well. Sometimes we sing pop or folk hymns, too.   Normally, the  choir sings an anthem every Sunday between September and June; however, during online worship, one or two singers volunteer to sing hymns with Rev. Suzanne in church.  The choir is open to all, no matter your musical background.   We look forward to whenever it is safe to gather in person to raise our voices together in song.
