St Mark’s Episcopal Church will kick off Holy Week with a Palm Sunday Service that will join two parishes in a creative, mobile service in both Shirley and Westford.

The day will begin at 10 a.m. on Sunday, March 28, at Trinity Chapel, 184 Center Road, Shirley, with the Blessing of the Palms, first readings, prayers, and Palm Sunday meditation.

Then at 10:30 a.m., parishioners will join a Palm Procession, driving in their cars from Trinity to St. Mark’s, 75 Cold Spring Road, Westford.

At 11 a.m., the service continues with a Drive-In Service of Holy Eucharist at St. Mark’s, with participants listening over their car radio. The service will also be livestreamed via YouTube from the front step.

Holy Week continues with Maundy Thursday, April 1, through a Diocesan Video Service shared via Facebook & YouTube and a Zoom Home Agape Meal at 6 p.m. followed by “Watch with Me” Compline 9 p.m. via YouTube LiveStream.

Good Friday, April 2, will be marked with a Diocesan Video Service shared via Facebook & YouTube. A Zoom Good Friday meditation, prayers, and music will be held at noon. Holy Saturday, April 3, will be shared through a Diocesan Easter Vigil Service via Facebook & YouTube.

On Easter Sunday, all are welcome to an in-person Drive-In Service in St. Mark’s parking lot at 10 a.m., and an outdoor worship service at Trinity Chapel at 1 p.m. A pre-recorded video service will also premiering at 10 a.m. via Facebook & YouTube.
