On the second Sunday of Advent, we hear the call from two of God’s prophets, Isaiah and John the Baptist, reminding us that our redeemer’s way must be prepared. We pray for grace to repent and turn toward God, so that we may greet with joy the coming of Jesus Christ. In him, the shoot from the root of Jesse, all creation finds hope, peace, and new life.
Our theme for 2026 reminds us of how far we have come for 60 years as a parish supporting the community, how we honor that legacy now and commit to its future. When we walk in the same direction, we can do so many things.

We are a Christian community in the Episcopal faith tradition. We believe that God loves each one of us, wants to be in a relationship with us, and calls us to serve others. We are a small but mighty community with diverse church backgrounds that worships, serves, and learns together to grow our faith. Our congregants are from Westford, Chelmsford, Groton, Littleton, Lowell, and beyond. At St. Mark’s, we strive for justice and peace among all people and respect the dignity of every human being. All are welcome to join us in opportunities for spiritual growth, community service, pastoral care, and fellowship.

Join the St. Mark's family on Sunday morning's at 10 a.m. We are located near Cold Spring Road and Graniteville Road. We serve the Westford, Littleton, and Groton communities. Services are held every Sunday, and visitors are always welcome.
